Both the Women's Volleyball and Women's Basketball teams have yet to taste defeat in league play so far this season.

On the weekend the Lancer Volleyball team moved to a perfect 7-0 record and into first place in the Eastern Conference. The team took their perfect record on the road as they travelled to Barrie to face the home town Georgian Grizzlies. Despite not playing their best volleyball the team escaped with a close 3-2 victory. The Lancers are currently Ranked #3 in the OCAA Provincial rankings and crept into the National Rankings last week for the first time this year. They are currently ranked 14th nationally. Leading the team in offense is the veteran tandem of Amy Hoskin and Mandi Buma. Hoskin is leading the way averaging 3.26 while Buma is chipping in with a 3.19 offensive stats per game. Rookie Rebecca Ramsay is making her presence felt as she is averaging 2.77 PPG.
The Women's Basketball team moved to 3-0 with a win at Fleming Peterborough last week as they downed the Knights 57-30. Once again Erin Rose led the team in scoring with 26 points. Rose is now averaging 24.33 points per game and is the leading scorer in the OCAA. Teammate Brittany Denneny is averaging 16 PPG and is third in league scoring. The team has a tough week ahead of them as they host the Seneca Sting on November 18th and the Georgian Grizzlies on the 23rd of November. The Sting is the team to beat in the East Region and the Grizzlies are off to a great start this season. The Lancers have some very key injuries right now so will look to the bench if the team is to remain undefeated. The Lancers are currently ranked 4th in the OCAA.
